The Signs We Ignore
This illustrated series for the Cornell DEA Program explores the contradiction between environmental awareness and everyday convenience. Although signs constantly remind us to conserve resources, our habits often lead us to do the exact opposite – one small decision at a time.
Watching reels about the climate crisis while leaving my phone plugged in.
Reading about Delhi’s air pollution from inside the car contributing to it.
Standing beneath signs against plastic while drinking from a disposable bottle.
Thinking about restoring nature while continuing the habits that erase it.
Remembering everything I should switch off – without actually getting up to do it.
They really liked the work! I got into USC IYA, RISD and a transfer option from Cornell!
