The Brief

Enhance one overlooked feature of a chosen platform.
I focused on Pinterest’s moodboard and collage tools. While Pinterest makes collecting inspiration effortless, turning scattered Pins into a cohesive, usable direction remains surprisingly manual.

The Context

When pinterest users have a real goal: planning a room, choosing a nail aesthetic, or building a project moodboard, saving Pins is only the beginning.

The Problem

When users try to build a moodboard, irrelevant suggestions create noise, generic templates restrict their direction, and the blank canvas leaves them unsure where to begin.

Flexible to shape
Personalized suggestions adapt as the user’s direction evolves.

Clear enough to finish
Cohesive guidance turns scattered Pins into an actionable board.

The Solution

Curio transforms a short description or a collection of existing Pins into an editable visual direction: generating relevant imagery, palettes and collage layouts in one connected workspace. Users can rearrange, regenerate and collaborate while Curio keeps the board visually aligned.

Sora Generated Ideation

Prompt-to-board creation

Describe a visual direction and Curio instantly generates a curated board around it.

In-board AI refinement

Ask Curio to add, replace or generate matching Pins without leaving the board.
